"The High Priestess" is a mixed media piece consisting of acrylic paint, gouache, cut paper, and colored pencil. This piece is inspired by The High Priestess tarot card, and is represented almost like a Byzantine icon. The High Priestess rules dreams, the subconscious, intuition, and hidden gifts. She is ruled by the moon, represented above her, and is pictured holding a pomegranate, a symbol of Persephone.
