Lady Bell Chain Charm

Each lady chain charm is hand-sewn with printed cotton poplin, which features a double sided design. Each stuffed fabric piece is then strung together and finished with opalescent beads and a brass bell. The nude lady print is a reproduction of original drawings by Irene Mudd.

The nude dancers motif was loosely inspired by the Anima Mundi, or “world soul”. Typically depicted as the body of a woman dancing in the cosmos, the Anima Mundi represents the concept of interconnectedness between all beings. 

In many spiritual practices, the ringing of a bell is used to clear the negative energies of a space, invite good fortune into the home, and awaken the unconscious mind. Hang this charm on a door, wall, or in any space needing energetic cleansing.
