Coltsfoot Leaf is a herbaceous perennial that has yellow flowers and leaves that resemble a horse's hoof, which is where its name originates. It is part of the Asteraceae family and a smaller cousin to dandelions and sunflowers, and is native to Europe and parts of Asia. Coltsfoot has been historically believed to have many medicinal uses. In many Indigenous cultures, coltsfoot was added to other herbs for smoking to induce visions.
