Executive Director of the Parapsychological Association
Annalisa Ventola is an educator, researcher, and administrator in the field of parapsychology with particular interests in science communication, the training of psi (or psychic) abilities and
investigating haunting/poltergeist experiences. She is the executive director of the Parapsychological Association (www.parapsych.org), a consultant for the Society for Scientific Exploration, an associate member of the Center for Research on Consciousness and Anomalous Psychology at Lund University (Sweden), a review board member of the Journal of Exceptional Experiences and Psychology, and scientific advisory board member of the Revista Académica Sobre Anomalías del Comportamiento (Journal of Behavioral Anomalies) in Spain.
A resident of Columbus, Ohio, she has organized and presented research at many international conferences and published several studies on haunting/poltergeist experiences as well as coauthoring primers on field investigation techniques. Locally, she also supports emerging artists and musicians at her Clintonville studio, where she is producing a song cycle for voice and piano based on metaphysical concepts (www.annalisaventola.com)
